balsamic peach sundae $1.12 recipe/1 serving
This fancy sundae is sure to wow guests at your next dinner party! I have seen recipes for topping ice cream with strawberries marinated in balsamic vinegar so when I made my Balsamic Glazed Peaches, I knew I had to try them on ice cream. Sure enough, this was the best ice cream dish I have EVER tasted. Don't be afraid. Just trust me.
Balsamic Peach Sundae

Total Recipe cost: $1.12
Servings Per Recipe: 1
Cost per serving: $1.12
Prep time: 5 min. Cook time: 0 min. Total: 5 min.
STEP 1: Scoop 1 cup of vanilla ice cream into a serving dish and top with the balsamic glazed peaches.
STEP 2: Sit back and savor the surprising taste sensation!
NOTE: Experiment with different ice cream flavors and post your results! I almost grabbed caramel or dulce de leche flavors when I was at the store but decided to try the recipe with basic vanilla first. Try adding other toppings too. I'm sure the slivered almonds would be wonderful because they would add a crunch element to the sundae (and only $0.14/Tbsp by my calculations).

These were really good when hot, but I saved some for the next day and they weren't as good. (Still ok, but not as mind blowing as the first day's) I had them cold, so heating them might have helped, or it could be because the second pan of them was not cooked for as long. Either way, I recommend making just enough of them for your meal.
