So here's the back story: I've never been all that into Martha Stewart until last year when a friend of mine (hi, Jeffrey!) got me a subscription to her Everyday Food magazine. I was pleasantly surprised to find it packed full of simple, delicious, and EASY recipes. Just my style! Jump forward to last month when I got an email from one of their editors asking if I'd like to contribute some budget advice for an article... You bet I do! So, if you turn to page 26 of the March 2012 issue, you'll see my picture and quote about shopping at ethnic markets to save money on spices and other goods!
I wanted to give away subscriptions to the magazine, but international shipping was not available. I was bummed. But then the editor sent me this amazing Martha Stewart Everyday Food - Great Food Fast cookbook as a thank you. It's every bit as amazing as the magazine... actually, even better! The recipes are simple, the pictures are gorgeous, and the layout is clean. The recipes are also divided up by season, which helps when trying to use up seasonal ingredients while they're priced low! If you like my cooking style, then you'll probably love this cookbook as much as I do.
Anyway, it's a fantastic cookbook full of exceptional recipes and I want you to have one. So, this weekend I'll be giving away three!

I LOVE onions on my pizza! I had never had onions on pizza (alone, at least) until I was in college and had a boyfriend suggest it. At first I was totally turned-off by the idea, but now it's my favorite topping!!! :)

I love cheddar cheese on my pizza. We make a cheese burger pizza that is to die for. Lots of burger, cheddar cheese with onions, mushrooms and lettuce and tomato. Yummmm

I absolutely adore pineapple on top of white pizza. The pineapple gives it that delicious fruity zing that pulls the whole thing together and leaves me feeling refreshed as opposed to a giant greaseball like pepperoni and meatlovers pizzas (don't get me wrong, theres a time and a place for something like that)

I love tons of roasted broccoli, roasted fresh green beans, a sprinkle of feta cheese, and a squeeze of lemon! (and maybe a little lemon zest too!) It's nutty, salty, fresh.....and it makes me feel a little less guilty, lol. I just use a little olive oil and garlic and black pepper for the sauce. Perfect!
